I adore this photographic art by Giuliano Grittini scawled with the famous Alda Merini poetry amongst a splash of neutral colours.  I have briefly written about this amazing photographer in the past yet I have never before shared this Kate Moss spectacular with you.

 

To be honest I was never really a fan of the waifish supermodel when she started out in 1988 regardless of her beautiful fine structure. Her natural gorgeousness has only strengthened with age, starting with her high profile relationship with Johnny Depp which created so much intrigue, a totally hot movie star and a rock-n-roll beautiful model, whats there not to love about that!  Then she started dating Pete Doherty and I didn’t completely loose interest in her yet rather just a little concerned like the rest of the world as to how far down this supermodel could spiral. Following… Jamie Hince from ‘The Kills‘ was introduced through the media.. they married, her in that glorious hippy designer dress by John Galliano, ever the amazing fashion icon that she always will be.  Putting aside what has happened in her personal life over the years, what has always played influence in mine is her cutting edge incredible sense of eclectic style, from stylish-sexy chic to boho, she just gets it! When other supermodels were being praised and celebrated for their wonderful curves, she stood tall as the petite feminine and sort after supermodel with a difference.

Her fame brought about by everything from a social and stand alone stylish point of difference, incredible genetics, a roller coaster public dating game and a very presigous forefront campaign list of major designers including Gucci, Burberry, Chanel, Dolce and Gabbana, Calvin Klein, Bulgari, Agent Provocateur, YSL, Louis Vuitton, Longchamp, Topshop, the Rimmel Kate Moss selection and no doubt many others that I haven’t mentioned here.

Photographed time and time again by the incredible celebrity photographer Mario Testino, the supermodel had a strong presence throughout the 54 inspiring photographs that were celebrated at the master’s exhibition Todo o Nada, held in Rome in Palazzo Ruspoli on Via del Corso in the centre of Rome.  I spent hours at the exhibition staring at his work with every piece leaving me in awe of his subjects raw beauty.
