We will take you to discover the refined, aromatic and complex world of truffles where you will be taken on a complete journey that embraces the entire process starting from hunting in the fields, through analysing the various characteristics of truffles, closing the experience by fine tuning your taste buds and enjoying a selection of dishes where the shining star is the truffle itself.

A hands on truffle cooking-class and lunch based on fresh truffles at the truffle hunters house. The Menu varies depending on the fresh ingredients.
Truffle Cooking Class
A unique full day private experience learning about traditions and the history of the hunt, its uses in the kitchen and you will learn how to recognize and distinguish a good truffle from other “fake” truffles of inferior quality and artificial products.

After lunch enjoy a three hour private guided tour of the local Tuscan village exploring the medieval churches, a cathedral, a 13th century palace, a palazzo, medieval towers and a museum of sacred art that holds works by Filippo Lippi, Il Empoli, Neri di Bicci, Fra Bartolomeo, Frederico Cardi (known as Cigoli) and Verrocchio before returning with your private driver to your hotel or Villa.

Pick up/Drop off locations: Florence, Pisa, Siena and Livorno which is a great option for those on a cruise.
Inclusions: Private transportation, driver, truffle hunting with an expert and his dog, cooking class and lunch based on fresh truffles plus a private guide tour of the local village.
VENICE: If you are departing from Venice or transferring to Venice – An alternative very exclusive full-day private experience is available on request, this is the ultimate way to make use of your day transferring by private car between Florence and Venice. This unique experience does not include a cooking class or private tour of the local village due to transfer time.
Venice transfer inclusions:
- Private truffle hunt in the fields with the hunter and his dog, followed by an aperitif and lunch based on truffle preparations following the hunting experience.
- Lunch will be prepared accordingly using the same recipes that the truffle hunters prepare at the end of their working day.
- Sit back, relax and enjoy the tasting of truffle cheese and sun dried tomatoes, fresh focaccia and a glass of Prosecco. Followed by a truffle omelette and delicious truffle tagliolini with melted butter and parmesan cheese accompanied by Bolgheri red wine. To end the meal a dessert of truffle honey ice-cream. (dishes subject to change)
